Position Summary TekniPlex is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Intern to support quality assurance and continuous improvement activities at our Madison, WI facility. This internship provides hands-on experience in a regulated manufacturing environment and exposure to quality systems, inspections, documentation, and problem-solving tools used in the packaging industry. Key Responsibilities Assist with day-to-day quality assurance activities on the manufacturing floor Support incoming, in-process, and final product inspections Help maintain and update quality documentation, records, and logs Participate in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting of quality metrics Support internal audits and preparation for customer or regulatory audits Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality team members on continuous improvement projects Follow all safety, quality, and company policies Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Materials Science, or a related field Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Basic understanding of quality concepts (inspection, nonconformance, documentation) preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and follow safety procedures Strong communication skills and willingness to learn Preferred Skills (Not Required) Experience with data analysis or statistical tools Interest in manufacturing, packaging, or materials science What You'll Gain Real-world experience in a quality role within a global manufacturing company Mentorship from experienced quality professionals Exposure to quality systems and continuous improvement practices Opportunity to develop problem-solving and analytical skills Potential consideration for future full-time or co-op opportunities Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
