The Technical Strategy and Oversight (TSO) organization is dedicated to enhancing customer choice, transparency, and value in cloud infrastructure. We are launching exciting initiatives, including the construction of innovative platforms and frameworks to empower OCI developers and support a comprehensive service platform that manages a wide array of OCI services, ensuring high performance and availability. We invite experienced engineers to join our newly formed service platform team within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This team is responsible for the execution runtime, service management, and high-level tooling required to run OCI services effectively. We aim to improve the developer experience by streamlining service change management workflows and creating mechanisms for efficient local debugging and global software distribution. Career Level - IC5 Responsibilities Utilizing your technical, research, and analytical skills, you will collaborate with diverse teams to develop the next-generation OCI Service Platform. As a consulting member of the technical staff, you will take on a leadership role, overseeing design, development, operations, conducting design reviews, and mentoring team members. Preferred Skills & Experience 10+ years of relevant engineering experience. Strong communication skills with a proven record of collaborative teamwork. Technical leadership experience, guiding the architecture, design, and implementation of complex software systems. Experience mentoring fellow engineers. Proficiency in software development, preferably including Java. Expertise in developing and operating hosted software solutions (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS, etc). Familiarity with OCI is advantageous. Experience with containers, Kubernetes, and scalable workflows is a plus. Range and benefit information provided in this posting is specific to the stated locations only. US: Hiring Range in USD from: $96,800 to $251,600 per annum. Eligibility for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral may apply.
