Job Description

Join a dynamic healthcare team as a Family Medicine Faculty member, providing comprehensive primary care and supervising medical students and residents. This role emphasizes a patient-centered approach, ensuring quality, evidence-based care across all ages, from infants to adults, within a collaborative clinical environment. Key Responsibilities Deliver family medicine services in both clinic and hospital settings, managing a dedicated patient panel. Engage in consultations with other healthcare practitioners to optimize patient outcomes. Participate actively in quality improvement and risk management initiatives related to family medicine. Contribute to policy development and uphold standards through medical record audits and regulatory compliance. Submit professional service charges timely and provide agreed-upon charity care. Fulfill on-call duties as required by medical staff regulations. Assist in resolving patient and provider concerns to enhance satisfaction. Support community outreach efforts as requested. Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in compliance with legal and accreditation standards. Provide input on budget, staffing, and equipment needs; assist in supervising non-provider staff. Embody professionalism, adaptability, teamwork, and ongoing learning to foster a positive work environment. Education and Experience Completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency program in Family Medicine is required, along with board certification or eligibility. Licenses and Certifications Active, unrestricted MD or DO license in the relevant state. Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine. DEA certification. Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Skills and Abilities Strong diagnostic and treatment planning skills across a broad range of medical conditions. Proficiency with current technology and willingness to learn new systems. Excellent verbal and written communication tailored to diverse audiences. Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and patients. Strong organizational skills with attention to accurate documentation. Independent judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
