OB Surgical Technologist Job Responsibilities Assist in Labor & Delivery Procedures: Set up surgical suites, ensure instruments are properly sterilized, and provide direct support to OB surgeons during procedures. Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Partner with nurses, physicians, and medical staff to deliver seamless, high-quality patient care. Provide Med-Surg Support: Step in to assist the Med-Surg unit during low OB patient volume. Maintain Surgical Safety & Protocols: Uphold strict sterile field practices and adhere to all surgical safety guidelines. Oversee Equipment & Supply Readiness: Monitor, restock, and prepare surgical and delivery rooms for both routine and emergency cases. Job RequirementsLicensure & Certifications: BLS certification required. Skills & Experience: Labor and delivery or surgical scrub experience preferred, but training is available. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in fast-paced settings. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare environment.
