The Midas Service Center Manager oversees all business operations and store performance, focusing on safety, efficiency, and profit/loss accountability. This role is crucial in fostering customer satisfaction and driving both customer retention and business growth. The Service Center Manager is responsible for operational aspects such as cost control, inventory management, and ensuring environmental compliance, with a strong emphasis on maintaining a safe workplace. This position involves providing consistent leadership to create a collaborative, productive work environment. We seek an experienced manager ready to take charge of operations, financial performance, team morale, and growth strategies. The ideal candidate should possess a college degree or relevant coursework (preferred), a minimum of three years in the automotive repair field, supervisory or management experience, a background in continuous improvement, P&L experience, and outstanding interpersonal skills. Responsibilities Manage and lead automotive and general service technicians Recruit, hire, train, motivate, evaluate, schedule, and coach employees Deliver exceptional customer service while consulting with customers Follow up with customers regarding services, estimates, and completion times Oversee comprehensive vehicle inspections and make repair recommendations Build computerized repair orders and source necessary parts Discuss pricing estimates and promote service specials Train and guide the team aligning with our vision and core values Manage all sales, accounting, and administrative tasks Supervise the technicians’ diagnostics and repairs of various vehicle types Maintain inventory count and manage any inventory loss Ensure facility cleanliness and adherence to environmental regulations Handle employee payroll and maintain accurate records Update and submit daily sales reports to Corporate Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years in a management role within a service or store environment General knowledge of automotive services Exceptional customer service skills Excellent communication abilities Strong POS system and Internet proficiency Effective leadership and team-building capabilities Willingness to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays. Closed on Sundays. Valid driver's license
