Our Institutional division is empowering clients to trade, secure, and engage in the evolving cryptoeconomy. We provide a variety of products designed for institutional clients across both U.S. and international markets, including custody solutions, crypto prime brokerage, and robust infrastructure. The Brokerage Product team is dedicated to crafting the essential infrastructure for the future of investing. In this role, you will lead the strategy and development of vital components of our brokerage offerings, which encompass order routing, market data, clearing, settlement, custody, and tokenization for equities and options. Your mission will be to create a modern brokerage that seamlessly integrates traditional and crypto products from the ground up. You will work closely with engineering, design, and various cross-functional teams to build and enhance products, empowered to operate autonomously while delivering impactful results. Key Responsibilities: Oversee product development for brokerage solutions, enhancing existing offerings and exploring new opportunities. Collaborate with engineering, design, compliance, legal, and operations teams to formulate and execute the product roadmap. Launch innovative products for Coinbase users in both established and emerging brokerage sectors. Define and assess metrics to guide product development, ensuring an exceptional user experience. Foster alignment among teams around a shared vision and drive execution towards that vision across our brokerage platform. Effectively communicate plans, progress, benefits, and features both internally to stakeholders and externally to customers. Requirements: 7+ years of product management experience, especially in regulated brokerage and FinTech settings. Extensive knowledge of brokerage products (including margin lending, options, and alternative investments) and/or core brokerage functions (like market structure, order routing, clearing and settlement, and regulatory reporting). Exceptional communication, relationship management, and organizational skills. Strong analytical abilities, prioritization skills, and problem-solving capabilities. Proven leadership experience guiding product strategy and aligning with senior cross-functional partners. An entrepreneurial mindset that thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. A commitment to building a reliable, scalable, and risk-mitigating platform. A talent for translating complex brokerage systems and regulatory needs into user-friendly products. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in developing products for retail investors with an understanding of diverse user segments.
