Description Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients spanning pediatric to geriatric age groups utilizing standardized tests and observations. Implement targeted speech therapy sessions focusing on a variety of speech and language areas including fluency, voice, and swallowing disorders. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, and family members to ensure holistic care. Provide education to both patients and families to enhance progress beyond clinical settings. Engage in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions as required, promoting seamless care throughout the recovery process. Maintain thorough and timely patient documentation in accordance with all relevant guidelines and regulations. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in speech-language pathology through ongoing education and collaboration with colleagues. Education A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you have not yet obtained ASHA certification. Certifications State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification should be obtained within 30 days after your start date.
