Provide critical support in surgeries, ensuring the operating area is prepared, patients are correctly positioned, and surgical instruments are efficiently passed during procedures. Offer exceptional care during the pre-operative and post-operative phases, which includes managing medications, wounds, discharge protocols, and educating patients. Education A Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program is essential. Experience with surgical rotations is highly preferred. Certifications Current PA-C certification is a must. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Active state licensure as a Physician Assistant or eligibility is essential.
