About the Job SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: Are you an experienced Concrete Project Supervisor ready to lead and coordinate concrete construction projects? We are looking for a dedicated individual to oversee all concrete operations on-site, ensuring quality standards, project timelines, and budgets are adhered to. As the Concrete Project Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supervising concrete construction processes, effectively communicating with project management, and maintaining a strong safety culture. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate with Operations Managers on concrete scheduling and operations. Engage in daily communications with the Project Management team for seamless project execution. Be present on-site to oversee all concrete construction activities. Ensure budget compliance concerning manpower production and material costs. Organize and schedule field labor effectively to meet project requirements. Coordinate with subcontractors for smooth workflow and planning. Preserve quality standards throughout the concrete construction process. Track project progress and report findings regularly. Monitor and accurately report time for the field team under supervision. Continuously assess productivity and address challenges promptly to avoid delays. JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES/BEHAVIORS: Extensive knowledge and experience in various concrete construction methods, including footings, walls, flatwork, tilt-up, and paving. Understanding of scheduling concrete work in relation to other trades and activities. Commitment to safety and implementing a strong safety culture on all projects. Basic proficiency in Spanish to communicate with field labor when necessary. Exceptional listening skills and the ability to build strong relationships within the team. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/ATTRIBUTES: A minimum of 6 years of experience in commercial or industrial concrete construction, managing projects of $2 million or more. Proven ability to supervise construction teams effectively while adhering to budgets and schedules. Skilled at maintaining positive relationships with various construction stakeholders, including management, owners, trades, and subcontractors. Able to juggle and prioritize multiple deadlines with efficiency. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong proficiency in technology and related resources.
