About the Role As a Freelance Infusion RN, you will provide expert IV therapy and infusion services at skilled nursing and rehab facilities within the Palestine-Corsicana-Athens-Mexia area. This role requires mobility, with visits scheduled according to facility needs. Our nurses operate independently, receiving mileage reimbursement and comprehensive clinical support. Key Responsibilities Administer IV medications and specialty infusions in skilled nursing and rehab facilities. Monitor patient responses and manage IV-related reactions in accordance with established protocols. Maintain and access existing vascular devices (peripheral IVs, ports, PICCs - note that line placement is not required). Perform therapeutic injections (IM/SQ) as prescribed. Educate patients on treatment plans and care expectations. Document treatments electronically and communicate updates to healthcare providers. Ideal Candidate Profile Current RN license in Texas. Minimum of 1 year of IV infusion or specialty infusion experience. Self-assured when working independently in field settings. Active BLS certification. Possess a valid driver’s license and have a reliable personal vehicle. Comfortable utilizing mobile devices for documentation and navigation. Schedule & Flexibility We offer PRN and part-time positions, with opportunities for: Part-time: 2+ shifts per week. PRN: Flexible scheduling as needed.
