Position Overview We are on the lookout for an energetic Practice Leader to propel the growth, operational efficiency, and market presence of our innovative consulting practice. This position harmonizes executive-level IT strategy, operational leadership, business development, and marketing direction. The perfect candidate will operate as a CIO-level leader, adept in both sales and market strategy, capable of steering the operational helm while driving new revenue opportunities. This role is vital for crafting the future of our consulting engine and amplifying our influence across our client network and beyond. Responsibilities Business Development & Growth Devise and implement business development strategies that align with the board's vision. Collaborate with leaders across the organization to co-create consulting opportunities, assess client requirements, and navigate solution pathways. Lead efforts to secure consulting engagements in areas such as IT strategy, Fractional CIO services, Data Analytics, Security Advisory, AI/Automation, Cloud Transformation, and Governance. Develop and sustain a robust pipeline across various sectors, ensuring strong forecasting practices. Represent the company in high-level discussions with potential clients, providing valuable insights that foster engagement. Create repeatable sales processes, frameworks, and playbooks to facilitate long-term growth. Daily Business Operations Guarantee engagement quality, delivery consistency, and adherence to company methodologies. Work closely with engineering, project, and account teams to align operations and consulting deliverables. Drive practice KPIs including utilization, revenue forecasting, pipeline health, margin goals, and client satisfaction. Support staffing choices, resource allocation, and engagement scoping. Implement operational processes that enhance efficiency, scalability, and alignment with business units. Marketing & Market Presence Lead various sales and marketing initiatives for the company, both internally and externally, in collaboration with the marketing team. Produce thought leadership content, presentations, webinars, whitepapers, and other materials that establish the company as a trusted authority in IT strategy and transformation. Shape and refine the brand's positioning, messaging, and go-to-market narrative across service offerings. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, community engagements, and during client presentations. Required Skills & Experience Over 10 years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure, or technical consulting roles, showcasing progressive responsibility and the ability to guide and communicate technical decisions effectively. Demonstrated success in business development, executive advisory, or consulting practice growth. Experience in operational leadership: managing teams, delivery processes, and financial performance. Solid understanding of contemporary IT concepts: cloud (Azure), security, data analytics, governance, automation/AI, digital transformation. Executive presence with exceptional communication, storytelling, and client engagement skills. Capability to work cross-functionally with joint-venture related businesses. Entrepreneurial mindset adept at developing new service offerings and revenue streams. Success Metrics Revenue growth and margin contributions from the practice. Client acquisition and expansion efforts within the existing client base. Improvements in marketing reach and brand visibility. Operational excellence in utilization, delivery quality, and client outcomes. Creation of scalable frameworks and repeatable consulting models. Reports to: Leadership Team/Board Compensation: Base Salary + Business Growth Incentives
