Maintenance Painter

Overview: Join our innovative Maintenance Division as a Maintenance Painter. In this rewarding position, you will carry out various painting and wallpapering tasks across our facilities, creating a vibrant and safe environment for both staff and guests. Responsibilities: Expertly apply different types of paints and stain coatings on various surfaces such as wood, metal, and plaster using brushes, rollers, or spray techniques. Prepare surfaces by stripping away old paint to ensure a smooth and effective application of new finishes. Employ various techniques to mix and match paint colors accurately as needed for each project. Perform painting on rides and structural components while strictly adhering to maintenance guidelines. Provide outstanding guest service by interacting positively with visitors, answering questions, and offering assistance. Keep a clean and safe work area, complying with all safety protocols and promptly reporting unsafe conditions to supervisors. Be adaptable to scheduling needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support operational requirements. Follow attendance policies as outlined in company guidelines. Abide by our organization's Rules of Conduct, including grooming standards and specific costume policies. Be open to undertaking additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED is required. 2-4 years of relevant painting experience is preferred. A valid driver's license is necessary. Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively, effectively following directions. Willingness to work various shifts and days as needed. Must be able to pass a background check if 18 years of age or older, which may include credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, in accordance with company policy unless restricted by law.
