Project Manager - Water and Wastewater Engineering

Join Brown and Caldwell, a leader in environmental engineering and construction, as a Project Manager. We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional to join our dynamic team, where you will have the opportunity to work on pioneering projects in water and wastewater management. This is a full-time, hybrid position based primarily in Rocky Hill, CT, where you'll play an essential role in delivering critical services to our municipal clients. Your Responsibilities: Lead the planning and design of water and wastewater utilities, including treatment plants and pumping stations. Oversee and execute projects focused on water distribution, treatment, and stormwater management. Develop comprehensive project scopes, schedules, and budgets for innovative initiatives. Create impactful technical deliverables such as modeling reports and detailed design documentation. Communicate project findings effectively to clients through strong oral and written presentations. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams to ensure seamless project execution. Manage the construction administration phase for ongoing projects, handling submittals and change orders efficiently. Mentor junior staff while taking on technical and managerial responsibilities for their tasks. Assist in preparing compelling client proposals and managing projects within set timelines and budgets. Participate in business development efforts to expand our client base and service offerings. Qualifications: B.S. degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering with a focus on Environmental Engineering. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in municipal water and wastewater facilities. Professional engineering registration in Connecticut or Massachusetts, or the ability to obtain it promptly. Strong project management and client engagement skills. Experience in marketing, proposal writing, and delivering client presentations. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Suite and project management tools. A valid driver's license with a good driving record. Preferred Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in water and wastewater project management. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus. Familiarity with GIS, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D is advantageous. Compensation and Benefits: We offer a competitive salary based on your skills and experience, ranging from $106,000 to $160,000, depending on position location.
