Deliver individualized speech therapy interventions that focus on enhancing communication, language skills, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing capabilities. Collaborate across disciplines with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and families to develop integrated care plans. Empower patients and families through education to extend progress beyond clinical sessions. Occasionally perform inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care throughout the healing journey. Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation in line with state, federal, and organizational policies. Commit to ongoing professional development by engaging in continuing education and collaboration with peers. Education A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) prior to obtaining ASHA certification. Certifications State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within a month of commencing employment. Skills Expertise in evidence-based practices across all age groups, with a solid grasp of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing difficulties.
