Job Summary: For over 40 years, Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection has served organizations and families in southern Wisconsin. The Project Manager Assistant supports the planning, coordination, and execution of plumbing projects for our branch in Monroe, WI. This role acts as a key connection point between the Branch Manager, field staff, customers, and vendors. You'll assist with managing schedules, communication, documentation, problem-solving, and day-to-day project needs. You will also serve as a backup to the Branch Manager, helping keep operations in our plumbing projects running smoothly. Responsibilities: Manage plumbing construction and special projects from startup through closeout: handle RFIs, submittals, schedules, scope, budgets, change orders, monthly billings, material/equipment orders, permits and licensing, job cost tracking, and maintaining accurate project files. Serve as the lead point of contact for plumbing field staff: coordinate manpower, look-aheads, daily assignments, and provide ongoing support to keep work on schedule and within budget. Act as backup to the Branch Manager when they're in meetings or out of office, helping make decisions, resolve issues, and keep operations moving smoothly. Communicate with customers, vendors, and contractors: maintain strong relationships, respond to questions, support budgeting/pricing follow-up, and attend site tours and project meetings as needed. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: Construction Management or Engineering degree, or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience. Plumbing knowledge a plus. 0-3 years of construction administration experience and project management support Proven ability to show up consistently, work hard, and stay committed to goals and responsibilities Strong communication and relationship-building skills with field staff, customers, prospective customers, and vendors Excellent organizational and time management abilities Ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook) Workplace Location, Type, & Hours • Monroe, WI • 100% Onsite - at the office and jobsites • Monday - Friday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Pay Range $55,000-$75,000, placement on the pay range is based on relevant experience Text to Apply!
