This individual will act as the onsite lead, working handson while overseeing a small team of technicians. The ideal candidate has strong lowvoltage installation experience, leadership capability, and is motivated to convert to a permanent role after the contract period. ResponsibilitiesLead onsite lowvoltage installations for commercial projects nationwide Serve as the working lead for a team of 1-3 technicians Install, terminate, and testCat6 cabling,fiber,coax, and related infrastructure Install and support: Security camera and video surveillance systems Structured cabling systems Fire alarm systems Access control panels and devices Wireless access points Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings Build cable pathways while avoiding electrical and structural obstructions Build, mount, and dress server racks Mount and test cameras, access points, access panels, and fire alarm hardware Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and quality checks Ensure work complies withNEC and lowvoltage codesMaintain productivity, safety, and quality standards on site Required SkillsLowvoltage security systems installation Service and troubleshooting experience Video surveillance systems Cat6 structured cabling installation and testing Blueprint reading Additional Skills & QualificationsSelfstarter with strong work ethic Dependable and punctual Takes pride in quality workmanship Strong attention to detail Analytical and able to make field decisions as needed Ability to stay on task and meet project deadlines Interested in permanent employment after contract completion Tools & EquipmentTechnicians must provide hand tools, cordless drills, and punch tools All consumables, training, and access requirements are providedJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN.
