Job: CNC Machinist - Vertical Hone Machine & Jig Bore Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA Shift: 2nd Shift: M-F, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM - Training on 1st Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) Pay Range: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour Temporarily this is all we have. Will build upon this job description. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to operate and set up Vertical Hone machines and Jig Bore equipment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong blueprint reading skills and the ability to work independently in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate Vertical Hone machines and Jig Bore equipment Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Perform precise machining operations according to specifications Ensure quality and accuracy of finished parts Maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications Minimum 5 years experience as a conventional machinist Minimum 3 years experience setting up and operating CNC machinery Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills Experience with Vertical Hone machine and Jig Bore operations
