Corporate Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our client's team in Charlotte, NC. This role is critical to maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and external reporting requirements. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting knowledge, experience in a complex multi-entity environment, and a proactive approach to process improvement, ideally with a foundation in public accounting. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements for multiple entities Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes in accordance with GAAP Assist with internal and external audits, including documentation and analysis Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures Collaborate with cross-functional teams including FP&A, operations, and supply chain Analyze variances and trends across channels Ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements Participate in system upgrades and automation initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; advanced degree a plus 2+ years of corporate accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards Strong Excel skills
