Business Incentives Analyst Preservation Forward! The Office of Tax Incentives within the Ohio Department of Developmentis presently hiring for a Business Incentives Analyst to assist administering the Ohio Historical Preservation Tax Credit Program and other related tax incentive programs. What you'll be doing : Administer and oversee tax credit programs to ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, and program guidelines. Review and analyze complex tax incentive applications and compliance materials at first and second levels. Provide technical assistance and customer service to tax credit recipients, applicants, and inter-agency staff. Generate, troubleshoot, and monitor application materials and processes; ensure accurate routing and compliance in Salesforce. Maintain comprehensive electronic records and prepare reports on tax credit awards and awardee performance. Work independently and with teams on special projects within the Office of Tax Incentives and Strategic Investments Division. At the State of Ohio, we take care of the team that cares for Ohioans. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in public administration, public policy, city and regional planning, business administration, political science or related area OR equivalent work experience. Experience in program and/or project administration. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills with experience dealing with many types of people at various levels. Computer proficiency with experience using word processing, spreadsheet and database software required. Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to travel to various sites around Ohio.
