2nd Shift Entry-Level Welder Great opportunity for new welders looking to grow their skills! Join a fast-paced, supportive production team where you'll help build high-quality steel and aluminum components used in consumer and industrial storage products. What You'll Do Operate MIG welding equipment to produce steel and aluminum parts Set up and adjust welders; replace wire, tips, and consumables as needed Read and interpret blueprints to ensure product accuracy Inspect parts visually and with measuring tools to meet quality standards Place completed parts on conveyor lines or designated areas Report any equipment concerns to the supervisor or maintenance Record production output, including part/model numbers and quantities Use grinders to remove burrs or excess weld Monitor material usage and notify team when supplies are low What You Bring Basic MIG welding skills Ability to read and understand blueprints Experience welding steel gauges 1612 (helpful, but not required) Welding certificate required Experience with flux core or fabrication a plus Job Type & Location This is a permanent position based out of Crystal Lake, IL.
