A Day in the Life: Set up, operate, maintain, and dismantle the Portable Concrete Plant (RexCon 12SE or similar). Verify input of mix design components to ensure accurate mixing of products daily. Operate essential machinery and supplemental equipment for production, including pumps and conveyor belts. Maintain and service equipment used in plant operations. Monitor material inventories and coordinate material deliveries efficiently. Report daily metrics including production quantities and fuel consumption. Maintain records for plant permit compliance. Keep the plant area organized and orderly. Ensure safe and efficient equipment operation. Perform daily cleaning of equipment. Follow all safety practices, procedures, and policies diligently. Other duties as assigned. Do You Have What It Takes? A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; additional construction certifications or training are preferred. At least 3 years of experience as a Concrete Batch Plant Operator in road construction and airfield paving. Strong mathematical skills are essential. Experience with trial batches and mix designs is a must. NRMCA and/or ACI certification preferred; must be willing to obtain. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective verbal communication skills with various stakeholders. Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Must be eligible for clearance in restricted/high-security zones (e.g., Airports, Military Bases). A valid Driver's License is required. Must pass a drug screening. This role requires 100% travel.
