Position Details: Location: BayCare Hospital Wesley Chapel, 4501 Bruce B Downs Blvd, Wesley Chapel, FL 33544 Status: Fulltime Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM On Call: Yes Always in person Summary: The Procedural RN responsibilities include: RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization RN also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned For this position, we prefer at least two years of acute care experience with 1 year RN experience in Endoscopy, PACU, Critical Care, or Emergency Service. Procedural experience is preferred. Endoscopy experience is strongly preferred. Certifications and Licensures: BLS (Basic Life Support) RN (Registered Nurse) ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department Preferred Nurse Specialty Education: Associate's Nursing or Diploma Nursing Preferred Bachelor's Nursing Experience: Required 2 years RN experience Preferred Experience includes 1 year Interventional/Perioperative Internship.
