Orthopedic Physician - Total Joint Specialist

We are currently seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physician with a focus on Total Joint procedures to join our established practice in Eastern North Carolina. This is an exciting opportunity to meet the growing demand for orthopedic subspecialists in our region, alongside anticipated retirements in the coming years. Key Highlights: We are primarily looking for Fellowship Trained Total Joint Specialists. Our physicians consistently exceed industry standards in wRVU production. Our practice boasts a diverse payor mix: 43% Commercial, 44% Medicare, 6% Medicaid, 4% Workers Comp, 1% Self Pay, and 2% Other. Overhead costs are maintained at a manageable 55%. Enjoy a favorable 1:6 call schedule for ED/MD Consult Calls for orthopedic patients; there is no trauma call required, although options may be available for those interested. Our team consists of 80 FTEs, including 6.5 PAs who actively participate as first assistants in surgery and manage their own clinic schedules. PAs are also responsible for covering call duties and inpatient care. Daily Schedule: Typical setup of 2 days in clinic followed by 3 days in surgery, or vice versa. In the past year, our providers have successfully handled: 48,393 total office visits 8,168 new patient appointments Over 4,000 global surgical cases Partnership Opportunity: Equity buy-in available at partnership level with no upfront investment required.
