About the Role Canon ITS is seeking dedicated and professional individuals to provide outstanding technical support for laser printers. As a Technical Printer Support Specialist I, you will take incoming customer calls and respond to inquiries, resolving a variety of technical laser printer issues with a focus on achieving resolution on the first call when possible. You will escalate cases as necessary and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction. Your Impact In this role, you will: Provide professional technical support to customers via phone, email, and chat Analyze and troubleshoot complex laser printer issues while recommending effective solutions Research and resolve customer inquiries using available software and tools Interact with customers and team members in real-time to expedite resolutions Make informed business decisions that benefit both the customer and the company Document interactions and resolutions in our application Assist customers with making purchasing decisions on our website About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in customer service or call center environments Familiarity with PC operating systems such as Windows and/or MAC Intermediate to advanced internet navigation, messaging, and email skills Proficient in keyboarding and Microsoft Office tools Ability to work independently while managing time effectively Strong communication skills, active listening, and proficiency in English Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and navigate multiple computer programs simultaneously Dependable with consistent attendance required Reliable high-speed internet connection and a distraction-free workspace Company Overview Canon Information Technology Services, Inc. fosters a diverse and energetic environment where employees can grow their careers.
