Licensed Respiratory Therapist- Night Shift

Job Description Strong clinical skills Assess and treat patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders by administering medication and oxygen therapy as prescribed by medical staff. Carries out blood gas puncture and analysis, blood gas analyzer operator maintenance and quality control. Initiation and monitoring of mechanical ventilation; invasive and non-invasive. Experience with Tracheostomy; Speaking Valves, changing trach ties & gauze and decannulation with Medical Staff Tracheal suctioning of trach and ventilator patients Maintaining of full oxygen tanks ("E") on all units. This position is 7:00pm to 7:15am with rotating weekends Requirements Must be licensed and registered as a Respiratory Therapist by New York State Benefits Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance
