Job Summar Sub Specialty(s): Registered Nurse, Long Term Care (LTC), Skilled Nursing (SNF)y The Registered Nurse (RN) partners with residents and interdisciplinary care providers to create a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment. The RN provides both direct and indirect nursing care while promoting resident-centered outcomes and maintaining high standards of clinical excellence. Units Available ? 3 East – Specialized Memory Care (31 Beds) Focused on residents with Alzheimer"s and dementia Emphasis on verbal and non-verbal communication techniques Understanding and managing dementia-related behaviors Long-term, home-like care environment ? Transitional Rehabilitation Unit (42 Beds) Located on the second floor of d"Youville Pavilion, this unit provides short-term skilled nursing and rehabilitation services for patients recovering from: Fractures Joint replacements Back surgery Stroke Other short-term illnesses or injuries Common nursing services include: IV therapy Wound care Geriatric assessment and management ? 3 West – Long-Term Care (42 Beds) Long-term placement in a supportive, home-like setting Comprehensive nursing care for residents requiring ongoing support Job Requirements Education Associate"s Degree in Nursing (ASN) required Valid State of Maine RN license or compact RN license required Experience 3 years of previous RN experience preferred Skills & Competencies Medical terminology knowledge preferred Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams Flexibility to provide coverage 24/7 Willingness to float to other units as needed Equivalent combinations of education and experience demonstrating proficiency in required responsibilities may be considered.
