Safety Coordinator

Job Title: Safety Coordinator Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Coordinator for a significant project at a compressor station. This role will operate under the guidance of our corporate Health and Safety Director to ensure compliance with federal and state safety regulations, with the aim of minimizing workplace incidents and injuries. This position will be traveling from site to site every few months, but will be paid for travel time and milage. $135 a day in per diem. Responsibilities Ensure adherence to federal and state safety regulations. Work under the guidance of the corporate Health and Safety Director. Minimize workplace incidents and injuries through proactive safety measures. Essential Skills OSHA 30 - Hour Construction Industry (Cal/OSHA). 40 - Hour HAZWOPER Training. At least 3 years of recent and relevant experience in a similar role. A valid driver's license. Computer literacy. Additional Skills & Qualifications Health and Safety Technician (CHST) certification is preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus. Demolition experience is a plus. Environmental experience is a plus. Professional approach with strong interpersonal skills. Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills. Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills. Ability to work on own initiative. Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment. Ability to work cooperatively with others. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mooresville, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
