Industry Pharmaceuticals Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a dynamic Vice President of Legal Affairs to be a key player in its legal leadership team. This role serves as the second-in-command within the legal department, focusing on elevating legal operations to be a strategic business accelerator. The successful candidate will lead a team of five Associate General Counsels, each responsible for their respective verticals, and provide senior legal insight in critical business decisions. The ideal candidate will possess a robust litigation background, experience in heavily regulated industries, and a business-centric approach. Key responsibilities include: Developing and implementing litigation and regulatory strategies Managing legal risks effectively Creating scalable and technology-driven legal processes Serving as a trusted advisor to the General Counsel and executive leadership Collaborating across departments to deliver innovative, value-driven legal solutions To qualify for this exciting Vice President of Legal Affairs position, candidates must have: A J.D. degree and bar membership in at least one U.S. state A minimum of 12 years of legal experience with a significant focus on litigation Extensive experience in highly regulated sectors, particularly involving FDA and healthcare regulations A strong track record in managing and developing legal teams Expertise in strategic business advisory, as well as commercial, labor, and transactional legal matters The successful candidate will be a transformational leader with the ability to make pragmatic, risk-based decisions, demonstrating integrity and alignment with the company's mission.
