Join our dedicated team and take the lead in enhancing productivity and health! We are searching for an experienced Senior Project Manager who will drive a major enterprise productivity initiative. This role involves managing complex, multi-year partnerships with vendors and developing enterprise-wide strategies across various technology and business sectors. Your contributions will be pivotal in providing exceptional program leadership, effective matrix management, navigating risks and dependencies, and communicating effectively with executives. You will work closely with Procurement, IT, Finance, Operating Model leaders, and external vendors to deliver coherent execution, governance, and results across a diverse project portfolio. Role Overview Your main responsibility will be the successful delivery of a large-scale, multi-year productivity initiative that necessitates expertise in managing intricate vendor relationships and formulating enterprise-wide strategies. Key Responsibilities Program & Portfolio Leadership Lead the complete delivery of a comprehensive productivity and labor optimization program. Develop and maintain integrated program plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and delivery cycles across multiple teams and project leaders. Serve as the central coordination point to prevent siloed execution, ensuring alignment among segments, vendors, and operating models. Provide clarity and organization in a dynamic environment where scope, schedule, and budget may evolve. Manage program timelines, budgets, and scope adjustments. Present executive-level updates that emphasize data-driven challenges, opportunities, benefits realization, and progress towards strategic objectives. Facilitate technology implementation by applying extensive knowledge of portfolios, products, programs, projects, and agile delivery models. Governance, Risk & Execution Discipline Establish and oversee a comprehensive project governance framework, including escalation protocols, decision-making frameworks, and issue resolution processes. Proactively identify and address risks related to scope, schedule, resources, finances, and changes; develop mitigation strategies and present trade-offs to leadership promptly. Ensure consistent application of project management standards, reporting, and controls across all teams. Track progress against productivity benchmarks and key milestones, identifying gaps and proposing corrective actions. Vendor & Transition Coordination Oversee delivery tasks associated with vendor strategies, including phased rollouts by segment. Collaborate with Procurement and Operations leaders to align transition plans with rate cards, MSAs, vendor consolidation strategies, and evolving operating models. Assist with intricate vendor migrations, SOW conversions, and potential FTE transitions as needed. Leadership, Communication & Stakeholder Management Act as a trusted advisor to executive sponsors and senior leadership, providing clear, concise updates on progress, risks, and decisions needed. Develop and execute communication strategies that balance urgency with accuracy. Lead and influence cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed environment without direct authority. Mentor and support project managers at the team level to ensure effective execution and adherence to consistent methodologies. Make a Difference with Your Skills Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience in leading large-scale programs or portfolios, preferably in IT, workforce transformation, or substantial operational change initiatives. Proven success in managing multi-workstream programs characterized by considerable scale, ambiguity, and executive visibility. Strong matrix leadership capabilities with the ability to influence IT, Procurement, Finance, HR, and business leaders. Extensive expertise in program and project governance, risk management, dependency planning, and executive-level presentations. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information into actionable insights for senior leadership. Experience managing large vendor transitions, sourcing initiatives, or workforce/labor optimization programs. History of effective collaboration with consulting partners and external vendors. Ability to work in EST. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field. Familiarity with operating model redesigns, agile or hybrid delivery approaches, and extensive IT portfolios. PMP, PgMP, or similar certification is preferred but not required. Additional Information This role is remote, with occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings. Note: Employees working in a home or hybrid setting must have an internet service meeting specific criteria, including a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps. Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Pay Range The compensation for this position ranges from $126,300 to $173,700 annually, depending on geographic location and individual qualifications. This role is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
