Job Description As a Loss Prevention Specialist, your primary role is to protect the company from financial losses related to theft and fraud while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. You will be instrumental in fostering a culture dedicated to reducing shrinkage within the store(s) you are assigned to. Your key responsibilities will include: Identifying incidents of theft and fraud Reviewing CCTV footage and exception reports Monitoring physical security measures in the store Auditing the effectiveness of Electronic Article Surveillance systems Preparing detailed and precise case reports on apprehensions and recoveries Preserving evidence and collaborating with law enforcement Testifying in civil and criminal proceedings as needed Reporting any hazardous conditions to the Manager on Duty to ensure the safety of all associates and customers. You must conduct your duties in a way that minimizes risk to yourself, fellow associates, vendors, customers, and the company. Integrity and responsiveness to Asset Protection issues are essential as you prioritize the store's specific business objectives while supporting broader asset protection and operational goals. Compensation for the Loss Prevention Specialist position is $20.50 per hour.
