Your Responsibilities: Conduct third-party audits for BRCGS and/or FSSC 22000 certification schemes, focusing on food manufacturing, storage, distribution, or packaging. Ensure all audits comply with the latest BRCGS Standards and/or FSSC 22000 Scheme requirements, as well as ISO/IEC 17065 and ISO/IEC 17021 standards and TUV SUD protocols. Prepare and deliver comprehensive audit plans and reports, documenting findings and evidence promptly and accurately. Engage professionally with clients to clarify audit results and enhance understanding of conformity and certification requisites. Participate in calibration activities, witness audits, and performance evaluations as mandated by TUV SUD or accreditation bodies. Maintain objectivity, independence, and confidentiality throughout all audit processes. Your Qualifications: Qualified as a BRCGS and/or FSSC 22000 Auditor or Lead Auditor, validated by the scheme owner and accreditation requirements. In good standing with relevant certification schemes and authorized across applicable industry scopes (e.g., food manufacturing, packaging, storage, and distribution). Completed essential BRCGS and/or FSSC 22000 auditor training, including accredited Lead Auditor training where necessary. Possess an audit log from the previous three years detailing food safety and quality audits, including scope, dates, duration, role, certification body, and facility/product types. At least five years of experience in food safety, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, or food processing/manufacturing. Educational background in food science, microbiology, nutrition, or a related field (equivalent technical training may be considered). Preferred additional certifications such as HACCP, PCQI, or GFSI-recognized programs. Thorough knowledge of HACCP principles and relevant regulatory frameworks (FDA, USDA, FSMA). Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, complemented by strong analytical judgment. Verification of legal eligibility to work as an independent contractor in the United States.
