This is a remote position open to applicants nationwide. About You We are looking for a passionate leader to oversee and coordinate revenue cycle management operations across various clients. Your expertise in developing policies and procedures for revenue cycles and facility business offices will be essential in this role. As the Director of Patient Financial Operations, you will ensure efficient insurance billing, follow-up, cash posting, and compliance with federal and state guidelines within your control. About The Position Act as a direct liaison with clients, collaborating closely with the Senior Director of Revenue Cycle Operations. Contribute to the creation of revenue cycle and facility business office policies and procedures. Serve as an internal consultant on revenue cycle management matters. Assist in budget planning and maintenance. Oversee successful operations of revenue cycle functions, implementing best practices for optimal performance. Ensure Key Performance Indicators are accurately tracked and analyzed for maximum revenue cycle outcomes. Develop programs to enhance reimbursement processes. Supervise process improvements for your management team. Work with team members to create and implement standardized revenue cycle training programs. Lead quality initiatives, production standards, and compliance activities associated with revenue cycle functions. Minimal travel is anticipated, adhering to Signature Performance Travel Policies and Procedures. Other related tasks as assigned. Minimum Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred; equivalent experience will be accepted. Certifications Required: CRCR, CHRI, or other relevant credentials. Experience: At least 10 years in commercial medical claims billing and patient accounting, with 10 years of knowledge of insurance contracts and EOBs. 3-5 years management experience in a hospital business office, including billing and insurance follow-up is required. Experience managing offshore operations, large healthcare systems, as well as proficiency with MediTech, NexGen, or Athena is necessary. Experience in patient financial services reporting, Medicare and Medicaid billing, and Central Business Office (CBO) operations. Familiarity with medical coding best practices and billing procedures, along with strong analytical and interpersonal skills. Ability to efficiently manage financial records, create reports, and work independently.
