Natural Habitat Adventures, a nature-focused global adventure travel company, isseeking a Fleet Manager to support the work of our Operations team. The Fleet Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that Nat Hab's guest vehicle experience is among the best in the travel industry. This position is responsible for overseeing the operations, condition, and performance of all company vehicles and accompanying assets, managing driver training, and ensuring adherence to both internal and external policies. The Fleet Manager will work to maximize the efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness of the fleet while maintaining a high level of service. Additionally, this role involves reporting on administrative and financial tasks related to fleet operations. This is a full-time, exempt position. RESPONSIBILITIES In-depth knowledge of mechanical operation of vehicles (gas and diesel). Receiving of all vehicles returning to the company office. Preparation of all vehicles departing for company use and guest trips. Maintain company asset information and capitalizations items in conjunction with the finance team. Maintain stock of standardized supplies ready for use as per SOP. Manage the State and DOT registration/compliance for vehicles across North America. Coordinate logistics for office use of vehicles for marketing.eams.vents. Manage state smog testing and emissions on company vehicles. Partner with internal insurance staff to ensure proper protection of fleet. Provide driver training and documentation as needed for vehicles. Manage and secure all vehicle titles and certifications. Manage fleet vehicle maintenance both scheduled and ad hoc as required. Manage all vehicle recalls, maintaining safety and compliance of the fleet. Provide continual recommendations for cost-saving upgrades. Provide 24/7 support for on-location drivers and company employees. Manage and maintain annual budgets related to fleet costs (maintenance costs and capital budgets). Set financial guardrails and report monthly on spending and cost towards capitalization. Provide monthly vehicle status reports to leadership. Manage all new vehicle builds and upgrades. Manage offsite storage of tires and gear per SOP. Vendor management of field services (towing, service, etc.) Travel as required, including some short notice. Assist other Nat Hab departments as needed. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Proven experience in fleet management, logistics, or a similar field. Strong understanding of vehicle operations, maintenance, and safety standards. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to analyze data and generate detailed reports. Experience with budgeting and financial management related to fleet operations. Ability to ensure compliance with local and federal regulations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong project management skills with 5+ years of SDLC processes preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred and 5+ years managing high-value company assets. Flexible schedule with the ability to work on site as requested. COMPENSATION Salary: $70,000-75,000 USD base pay, plus annual bonus. Compensation commensurate with experience. This is a full-time, exempt position. Benefits are subject to change at the company's discretion. LOCATION AND TRAVEL This position currently offers a hybrid schedule and requires in-person attendance at our Louisville, Colorado office at least 50% of the workweek. This position may also require 1-3 weeks of travel annually to meet the needs of the role. This location and travel policy is subject to change at the company's discretion. WORKING HOURS Our standard company hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM MT. On Saturdays, we operate from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with coverage provided by select members of our guest-facing teams. Additional hours may be required, as needed, to achieve your goals and support business needs.
