Requisition ID: 43245BR Business Unit: LPG About the Role: As a Senior Procurement Specialist, you will play a key role in managing the procurement of goods and services for complex projects within the heavy industrial sector. Your expertise in negotiating subcontracts and purchase agreements will support project management in delivering successful outcomes for our clients. Key Responsibilities: Execute project and indirect procurement activities in alignment with company policies and contractual terms. Oversee vendor onboarding, performance management, and compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Collaborate with project management to develop scopes of work, specifications, and coordinate technical evaluations of proposals. Assist project management in procurement planning for proposals and contracts, serving as a trusted resource for procurement-related issues. Track and manage vendor purchase orders and delivery timelines, ensuring timely and efficient procurement processes. Review and guide junior team members, providing feedback and training to enhance team competency. Address vendor performance and delivery issues promptly to maintain project schedules. Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree is required. Four (4) years of relevant experience in procurement. Additional directly related experience may substitute for formal education. Preferred Experience: Prior procurement experience within Design-Build / EPC projects for heavy industrial clients. Work Environment: This position is based in Wadsworth, Ohio.
