Medical Billing Specialist

Medical Billing Specialist needed for full-time temp-to-hire position. Direct-hire roles come with 90% paid employer health insurance, 4+wks PTO, paid holidays, full tuition reimbursement and more! Duties and Responsibilities: • Posting Medicaid remittances including working denials • Working Medicaid Aged Receivables • Processing Spenddown Invoices daily • Follow up on invoices to verify clients have been opened • Review and adjustment of client accounts to ensure proper billing • Set up and maintenance of Spenddown Information, Eligibility and other Spenddown related fields • Providing excellent customer service to patients or staff with billing related questions Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Strong organizational skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Basic fundamental computer experience to process email and access client/claims information within an EHR and web based insurance portals • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is a plus
