Substitute School Nurse

Position Type: Student Support Services/School Nurse Date Posted: 7/1/2025 Location: Harrison Township School District Closing Date: 06/30/2026 Harrison Township School District seeks certified school nurses for substitute assignments in an Elementary School Health Office as well as field trips. Candidates must possess a current NJ nursing license, CPR certification, and NJ Substitute Nursing Certificate. Assistance with NJ Substitute Certification is available through the district. Substitute rate of $200.00/day; $27.00/hour if less than 4 hours. A day of training or orientation is highly recommended for this position. Anyone interested can select a day to shadow the nurse in this role for the day and be compensated. Substitute nurses will be paid as outlined above for this day of training.
