The EY FSO EDGE Private practice specializes in providing customized tax assistance to the high-net-worth sector. We cater to privately held companies and their owners, delivering essential services to family-owned businesses and private equity firms. As the landscape of private enterprises evolves, you will work with a variety of engaging clients, from startups to multi-billion-dollar organizations. Your Role: As a Tax Services Manager, you will lead tax compliance and consulting projects for a diverse client base, including private entities and influential individuals. You will act as a trusted advisor, cultivating relationships and expanding your professional network. Key Responsibilities: Consult with clients to navigate complex tax and relationship issues while liaising with senior management as necessary. Deliver timely compliance and consulting services, consistently meeting deadlines. Independently manage projects, seeking guidance only for particularly complex scenarios. Oversee client communications, facilitate information sharing, and ensure the timely preparation of tax documents. Manage engagement deliverables and resources effectively to provide efficient tax compliance services. Offer expert direction on intricate tax matters and mentor junior staff members. Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax, Law, or Economics. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax services organization within the financial services sector. Comprehensive understanding of federal income taxation and familiarity with state/local tax regulations. Proficiency in tax and accounting technologies. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Possession of CPA, EA, or legal license.
