This position is essential in supporting the execution of due diligence and real estate analysis for CMBS, agency multifamily, securitization, and other commercial real estate loan underwriting and debt consulting services. You will play a key role in managing multiple transactions with various clients, often under tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities: Provide analytical support in the underwriting and closing of commercial real estate loans, securitizations, or affordable housing loans. Review and analyze financial operating statements, rent rolls, tenant lease agreements, surveys, title reports, insurance policies, and credit reports. Assist with loan closings and gather necessary closing items. Research and summarize tenant-level data, including financial trends and credit ratings. Conduct interviews to gather market data from brokers, appraisers, and investors. Research market and submarket information, focusing on inventory, absorption, development proposals, and rental trends. Extract pertinent insights from third-party reports related to appraisals and environmental assessments. Draft property, market, and borrower/sponsor descriptions, along with summaries for reports to be included in credit memos. Contribute to developing value conclusions for a variety of property types. Perform additional activities as assigned by your manager. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience; preferred fields include accounting, finance, real estate, or business. Entry-level professional with 0-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in an Analyst role. 0-2 years of experience in the real estate sector or financial services, such as appraisal, brokerage, or banking focused on commercial properties. Preferred experience in underwriting agency multifamily, CMBS, or similar loans. Familiarity with commercial real estate and the due diligence process. Comprehensive understanding of property types (office, retail, industrial, hotel, multifamily) and their investment characteristics. Proficiency in Argus is a plus. Strong Excel and cash flow modeling skills. Excellent communication and business writing abilities. Please note this job description is not exhaustive. The annual full-time base salary range for this role is $60,000.00 - $65,000.00, with specific compensation determined through interviews and relevant experience. Certain positions may be eligible for discretionary bonuses based on company guidelines and management approval.
