Job description: Interpreting the order for the test to determine what body parts need imaging Explaining the test to patients and positioning them to make the test possible Setting the controls on X-ray equipment in preparation for imaging Checking X-ray images and retaking them as needed to ensure clarity Cleaning and performing routine maintenance tasks to keep X-ray equipment operating smoothly Sending X-ray images to other medical providers for reading Inventorying and stocking films and radiologic supplies Updating patient records with pertinent information Interpreting the orders provided by the physician or other prescribing medical professional Explaining what will happen during the CT scan to patients Positioning patients properly to take the necessary images Administering IVs that contain contrast dyes to enhance imaging Examining images to ensure they're usable Updating patient medical information Cleaning and maintaining CT scan equipment Keeping inventory of CT scan supplies and making orders for supply restocks as required Job details: Position: Radiology Technician-CT/Xray Tech Location: 3000 Hospital Blvd Roswell, 30076 GA Duration: 13 weeks with possible extensions Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM Shift per week: 3 with various days Hours per day: 12 Guaranteed hours: 36 hrs. /week Certification Requirements: ARRT Radiography Required ARRT Computed Tomography Required Basic Life Support Required 1 year of experience Pay for Local: $70/Hour Pay for Traveler: $77.6/Hour
