About the Job: Plumbing Project Coordinator Job Overview The Plumbing Project Coordinator is responsible for leading and managing plumbing projects from initial concept through to successful completion. This role is essential in ensuring that all projects are executed on time, within budget, and meet top-quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in plumbing systems and project management, as well as exceptional communication skills to effectively liaise with teams, subcontractors, and clients. Key Responsibilities Project Planning and Management: Create and oversee project schedules, budgets, and resource distribution. Work closely with design and engineering teams to ensure all project specifications are met. Analyze and interpret blueprints, specifications, and building codes. Team Leadership: Manage and organize plumbing crews, subcontractors, and suppliers. Facilitate regular project meetings to ensure everyone is aligned with objectives. Track team performance and uphold safety compliance. Quality Assurance and Compliance: Guarantee all plumbing works adhere to local regulations and industry standards. Perform routine inspections on-site to confirm quality of work and address any issues immediately. Budget and Cost Control: Keep a close eye on project expenses and tackle potential budget issues proactively. Authorize purchase orders, invoices, and agreements with subcontractors. Client and Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project duration. Deliver regular updates regarding project status and handle client inquiries. Ensure client satisfaction with professional and timely communication. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred. At least 5 years of experience in plumbing or construction project management. Thorough understanding of plumbing systems, materials, and local building regulations. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Able to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. A valid plumbing license or certification is a plus. OSHA or similar safety certification is advantageous. Work Environment and Physical Requirements This position may require frequent visits to construction sites, which may involve exposure to loud noises, dirt, and varying weather conditions. The role may require lifting up to 50 lbs and standing or walking for extended periods. Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary range of $90k - $120k. Health, dental, and vision insurance.
