Ensure delivery of safe, timely, and high-quality emergency care in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. Develop, manage, and monitor departmental budgets, staffing models, and resource allocation. Lead workforce planning, recruitment, retention, performance management, and staff development. Oversee quality improvement initiatives, patient flow, throughput, and emergency preparedness. Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, ancillary departments, and hospital administration. Analyse performance metrics including wait times, patient satisfaction, clinical outcomes, and regulatory benchmarks. Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, risk management, and patient safety standards. Lead emergency preparedness, disaster response planning, and regulatory readiness. Candidate requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (required). Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred. Significant leadership experience within Emergency Services or acute care settings. Strong knowledge of emergency department operations, clinical standards, and healthcare regulations.
