The opportunity As a Senior Data Architect at EY, you will play a crucial role in enabling better business outcomes for our clients in the evolving Power & Utilities sector. Your key responsibilities In this pivotal role, you will: Oversee the management and delivery of data architecture projects, with a focus on quality and risk management. Lead technical solutions and guide project teams in the implementation of cutting-edge data infrastructures. Become the primary resource for understanding client needs and providing effective data architecture solutions. Drive continuous process improvements and propose innovative solutions based on best practices. Establish data governance policies to ensure security, quality, and lifecycle management. As an expert in data architecture, you will mentor and lead teams while also engaging with clients to align their goals with effective data strategies. You will utilize your relationship management skills to become a trusted advisor and engage stakeholders in the decision-making process. To qualify for the role, you must have A Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 12+ years of professional experience in consulting, particularly in technology. Extensive hands-on experience in architecting and implementing data lake solutions, and at least 5 years' experience with cloud services such as Azure or GCP. Proficiency in data modeling, database management, and data integration techniques. Demonstrated experience leading diverse teams of data engineers. A strong understanding of data security principles and best practices. Ideally, you'll also have A Master's degree in relevant fields such as Computer Science or Engineering. Experience working in a big 4 consulting firm or major utility. A passion for innovation and a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment.
