Your Opportunity In the FSO EDGE State and Local Tax practice, you will provide expert tax assistance tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients. Collaborating with knowledgeable colleagues, you'll tackle a variety of tax areas and responsibilities in a team-focused environment. Your Key Responsibilities: Deliver and manage tax compliance and consulting services for clients. Identify and address key challenges to ensure timely and accurate client services. Analyze complex tax operations and provide insightful business recommendations. Communicate potential tax opportunities and risks effectively to clients. Stay updated on market trends to maintain your role as a trusted advisor. Develop personalized strategies to enhance clients’ tax processes. Form long-lasting relationships by understanding clients’ business operations. Guide and mentor a team of tax professionals while ensuring they have the resources to thrive. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline; graduate degree in Tax or Law preferred. CPA or licensed Attorney required. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in professional services or tax organizations. In-depth knowledge of automated tax processing systems and related laws. Strong collaboration and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Preferred Skills: Expertise in state and local partnership taxation. Proficiency in Office Suite applications. Experience with tax return preparation software. Ability to adapt to various team dynamics.
