Summer Lifeguard

We offer competitive bonuses and incentive programs for referrals. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure a safe swimming experience by enforcing all pool rules and regulations. Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, including providing first aid, rescuing at-risk swimmers, and administering CPR as required. Maintain and complete all necessary training and certifications, including CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguarding. Assess safety conditions and implement emergency action plans when necessary. Inspect pool facilities, equipment, and water to ensure safety and usability. Assist in the maintenance and cleanliness of the pool area and related equipment, and help with chlorine testing and chemical adjustments as guided. Guide swimmers safely in and out of the pool, especially during hazardous conditions. Deliver exceptional customer service in every interaction with clients. Complete any assigned cleaning duties promptly and effectively. Adapt to and comply with all company policies, procedures, and initiatives. Report any unsafe conditions or situations to your supervisor immediately. Wear the designated uniform for the location where you are working. Take on additional responsibilities as needed or as directed by your supervisor. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Previous experience in lifeguarding and customer service is an advantage but not mandatory. Must possess current CPR / AED, Lifeguard, and First Aid certifications; certification courses are available through Swim Club Management Group. Ability to remain calm and effective during emergencies. Strong verbal and written communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus. Physical capabilities include kneeling, bending, reaching, climbing, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Comfortable working outdoors for long hours. WORK SCHEDULE Flexible scheduling options available, including weekdays, weekends, morning, and evening shifts for seasonal positions.
