Point of Sale Configuration Specialist

Position Title: POS Configuration Specialist Wage: $16.00 - $23.00/hour QPS Employment Group is hiring a POS Configuration Specialist in Elgin, IL. POS Configuration Specialist Responsibilities: - Read and follow detailed instructions outlined on work travel sheets and staging documentation - Follow ESD Procedures - Receive staging and testing orders and verify that all parts, equipment, and counts are correct - Set up and configure a variety of equipment including, but not limited to, scanners, printers, PCs, point-of-sale (POS) systems, battery backups, cash drawers, and tablets - Follow procedures to set up and configure equipment for specific store requirements - Learn and use diagnostic software to confirm equipment functionality - Ensure each order meets customer-specific configuration and quality standards - Complete order documentation and required paperwork - Complete staging orders by assigned deadlines Requirements for POS Configuration Specialist: - A+ Certification - Fluent in English and Spanish - High School Diploma or GED - Proficient in Microsoft Office programs - Willing to learn and adapt in a technical environment schaumburg@ IND133 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
