We're hiring an experienced Level 3 Advanced / Senior Heavy-Duty Truck Mechanic for 1st shift. This role plays a vital part in the safety, accuracy, and efficiency of our fleet's repairs and maintenance. Apply today! Pay Transparency: Listed pay reflects actual total earnings for this role, including overtime, profit sharing, bonuses, and company paid retirement contributions. It does not include the value of other benefits like company-paid health, disability, and life insurance. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Diagnose complex electrical issues, perform repairs, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance on heavy-duty trucks and equipment Engine performance and internal repairs Advanced aftertreatment diagnostics Complete all services and repairs according to shop standards and DOT regulations Document parts, services, and time logs accurately and promptly Respond to occasional roadside service calls when needed Safely move and operate trucks in the yard or on the road as needed Follow all company safety procedures and best practices Mentor junior techs Minimal supervision What We're Looking For: Experience: 5+ years of diesel mechanic experience (heavy equipment repair preferred) Certifications: Michigan or ASE certifications (including engine component work) Skills: Strong attention to detail, safety-focused mindset, strong laptop diagnostic skills, and effective communication Education: High school diploma or equivalent Technical Ability: Computer literate; capable of diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing vehicle systems License: CDL-A or a willingness to obtain one with Inontime-sponsored training Teamwork: Collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively with others Leadership: Previous supervisory experience is a plus Salary Description 60,000 - 81,000
