User Experience (UX) Designer - Onsite About the RoleAdvanced Product Ventures (APV) team is seeking a Digital Product Designer to help craft a world-class mobile experience supporting a groundbreaking next-generation hardware product. This role will lead design execution across iOS and Android applications, shaping intuitive, accessible, and visually cohesive digital experiences that seamlessly integrate with connected hardware. This is a senior-level opportunity ideal for a designer who thrives in ambiguity, excels at cross-functional collaboration, and has a proven track record delivering high-impact consumer-facing mobile products-ideally within hardware-connected ecosystems. What You'll Work On Lead end-to-end design for mobile applications (iOS and Android) and connected hardware experiences Translate research insights, product requirements, and technical constraints into wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI designs Partner closely with engineering (hardware, firmware, and software), QA, and product management to ensure design feasibility, quality, and timely delivery Collaborate with UX Research to iterate designs based on usability testing and athletefeedback Maintain, evolve, and document design systems to ensure cohesive and inclusive experiences across platforms Champion accessibility, usability, and inclusive design principles (WCAG 2.1 compliance) Support operational planning and delivery of long-term APV initiatives Clearly articulate design strategy, rationale, and tradeoffs to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders Who You'll Work With You'll be a key member of APV Experience Squad, collaborating with product managers, UX researchers, and engineering partners across hardware, firmware, and software. Together, you'll drive the vision and execution of digital experiences built for athletes. What You Bring Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Visual Design, or a related field 7+ years of experience designing consumer-facing mobile applications Proven experience leading end-to-end product design, from concept through launch Strong expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools Experience collaborating with engineering and QA teams in Agile development environments A compelling portfolio showcasing mobile app design, hardware-connected experiences, and design systems Deep understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and inclusive design practices Excellent communication, storytelling, and facilitation skills Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity through structured, actionable design solutions Confidence presenting and facilitating discussions with senior leadership Preferred Experience Mobile app design for wearables or fitness/sports platforms (e.g., Apple Watch, Fitbit, Peloton) Experience designing apps connected to consumer hardware ecosystems (e.g., Alexa, Google Nest, Ring)
