Role - DevOps Architect (AWS) Location - Fort worth TX (Day 1 onsite, all 5 days). Job Responsibilities: We are seeking DevOps Architects with a strong background in AWS cloud infrastructure, security implementation, and automation. This is a hands-on role for architects who can operate across security, DevOps, and automation domains, collaborating closely with GlobalLogic's AWS ProServe team and Client's IT stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Architect, implement, and validate AWS Service Control Policies (SCPs) and AWS Config Rules in line with cloud security best practices. Develop and execute Infrastructure Qualification (IQ) scripts to verify and validate configuration changes. Enhance and maintain Landing Zone automation scripts using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation. Ensure security implementations meet governance, compliance, and audit requirements. Contribute to comprehensive documentation, change control, and traceability for all security-related activities. Troubleshoot AWS security and configuration issues, identify root causes, and develop scalable, long-term solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide architectural guidance throughout the project lifecycle. Continuously improve internal best practices and contribute to operational documentation for ongoing AWS security management. Job Description Security & Governance In-depth experience with AWS Organizations, IAM, SCPs, AWS Config, and Security Hub Practical knowledge of cloud security posture management and auditability. Technical & Scripting 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering with strong hands-on AWS expertise Proficiency in writing Infrastructure Qualification (IQ) scripts using Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages. Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation. DevOps & Automation Experience integrating with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks Familiarity with secure DevOps workflows and version control systems (e.g., Git) AWS Services, Kubernetes, networking, IAM, security policies, and AWS cost optimization Azure DevOps, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Helm charts Soft Skills Excellent communication and documentation abilities Capable of working independently and leading within cross-functional, distributed teams
