This position is ideal for an experienced engineer who is passionate about innovation and eager to contribute to our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities: Engage directly with assembly operations to optimize the production of fluid and pneumatic control products, along with valves utilized across various applications. Drive problem-solving initiatives within the Valve and Actuator assembly departments, focusing on pneumatic, electronic, and PLC-controlled test equipment. Support the assembly processes by conducting root cause analysis to improve component assembly and testing methodologies. Identify and source capital equipment needed for replacements or new projects. Develop and establish part routings for efficient production workflows. Assist in internal costing by providing quotes for components. Participate in new product development, pilot runs, and launches while also working on the localization of existing products and the creation of work cells. Validate and create assembly procedures to ensure optimal product performance. Lead the creation and maintenance of PFMEA, Process Flow Charts, and Assembly Procedures. Utilize appropriate systems to document and approve necessary changes. Conduct product testing and compliance verification using laboratory or production equipment, while also addressing customer returns and corrective actions. Gain proficiency in Oracle software, AutoCAD, CREO 3D CAD Modeling, and Office 365 applications. Implement continuous improvements and Lean manufacturing practices to achieve Perfect Execution. Lead projects focused on cost reduction and efficiency enhancements. Adhere to all safety regulations and proactively address any unsafe conditions or practices. Complete additional tasks as requested by the Engineering Manager. Who You Are: You are a problem-solver who anticipates challenges and creates effective contingency plans. Your ability to generate and champion inventive solutions sets you apart. You thrive in multitasking environments while working toward shared objectives and continuously seek to enhance organizational processes. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field. 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting. Proficient knowledge in mechanical and electrical components as well as industrial engineering applications. Hands-on experience with assembly equipment and a strong background in root cause analysis. Exceptional communication skills, complemented by integrity and professionalism. A collaborative team player who leads by example. Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future. Preferred Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills, including AutoCAD and/or CREO. Familiarity with PLCs, including programming and troubleshooting capabilities. Experience with 5S+1 and Lean manufacturing methodologies. Background in mechanical design and controls engineering. Thorough understanding of tooling, machining, and equipment building principles. Physical Demands & Work Environment: This role may require standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 40 pounds throughout the shift. Working conditions include exposure to noise, dust, and other manufacturing elements. PPE is mandatory, including safety glasses, safety shoes, and/or earplugs. Flexibility in working across various stations is expected based on business needs.
