Job Description In February 2026, Alkermes completed the acquisition of Avadel Pharmaceuticals plc. This acquisition added an approved product in the sleep medicine market. Position Summary: Field Reimbursement Managers (FRMs) help customers navigate and resolve fulfillment, access, and reimbursement issues for certain approved products. Working as one team, the FRM will work collaboratively with Territory Business Managers to ensure that prescribers and their office staff understand the RYZUP hub enrollment process, support services, and access. The FRM will be responsible for providing access and reimbursement support, working directly with prescribers, their office staff, and RYZUP Patient Support to provide education on these processes. Candidates for this role will need to understand the Specialty Pharmacy (SP) process and work in conjunction with RZYUP SP Liaisons to monitor cases as they are processed through the SP system, providing updates to both internal and external stakeholders. The Field Reimbursement Manager will be a key contributor to the Patient Services and Market Access team and an exceptional leader who will live and foster the Alkermes' values. Responsibilities Essential Functions: • Support development of Market Access Field Reimbursement Strategy across all assets and functions to ensure an integrated approach to broader HCP offices that delivers optimal access for patients, including ensuring an efficient cross-functional communication and feedback process. • Provide critical engagement with HCP office staff educating them on RYZUP enrollment process, support services, and access. • It is vital that Field Reimbursement teams develop and maintain strong relationships with each HCP office. • Work together with Territory Business Managers as one team in owning the relationship with HCP offices. • Plan and implement approved educational programs regarding access, reimbursement, and fulfillment topics • Work collaboratively across all internal teams with focus on Patient Support and Channel. • Support and communicate Market Access strategies in partnership with cross-functional teams, as appropriate. • Serve as a brand leader in the field for HCP offices to call on when access and reimbursement questions arise. • Educate HCP offices regarding REMS protocol and certification process to ensure offices can prescribe product. • Work collaboratively with all contracted partners. • Provide strong analytical work to improve process and performance, identify key metrics to track performance at a National and regional level. Qualifications Experience and Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred • 5+ years' experience within the Pharma/biotech industry in a role related to either Sales or Access, including experience working in Reimbursement, is required • Experience in the Rare Orphan Disease markets preferred • Ability to own build critical relationships with office staff • Proven experience with success in pull-through strategies • Experience in development of Field Access educational materials • Strong analytical expertise with ability to measure metrics and bring insights to data that will make a meaningful impact to patients • Strong knowledge of Patient Services programs such as Copay, Quick Start/Bridge, LMN/Appeals • Certain customers and/or Health Care Professionals may have credentialing requirements that apply to field roles to gain access to perform the essential functions of the position. In these cases, credentialing requirements must be met (which may include vaccinations such as influenza and COVID-19). Talk with a People & Culture Representative if there are questions. The annual base salary for this position ranges from $160,000 to $190,000. In addition, this position offers a performance based sales incentive bonus targeted at forty five thousand dollars annually and eligibility to participate in our long term incentive program.
